Where is my personalized Insurance Benefits Outline?
Who is eligible to participate in the District's benefit plans?
If you are a District retiree, you may enroll your spouse or domestic partner and any dependent children up to age 26 in a medical and/or dental plan that you are currently enrolled in. You may not enroll yourself in plans you are not currently enrolled in, but you may switch providers. For example, if you are not currently enrolled in dental, you may not add dental insurance during Open Enrollment. However, if you are currently enrolled in Kaiser medical benefits and want to switch to Anthem Blue Cross, you may do so.
What if I want to stay with my current plan(s)?
If you do not need to make any enrollment changes, your participation in your medical , dental, and vision insurance will remain the same, but at the 2023 rates (as shown on the Individual Insurance Benefits Outline that was mailed to your home).
